UB-2 We are currently offering 1 style of Umbrella Base. Our base is the fill-able type. This means that you fill the base with sand or water before use. Our experience is that a combination of both sand and water works best. These fill-able bases offer two advantages. First, the shipping cost is very attractive and secondly the empty base is very easy to move during setup and off-season storage. Our bases are manufactured using a U.V. Stabilized Polymer that resists cracking and fading. The UB-2 base is for use under a table and weighs approximately 30 pounds when filled. The UB-2 base is green in color to blend well with the outdoors and will not rust, dent, or leak.
